WAFFLES: Glogirly says we're playing Snow Hooky today on account of it's supposed to snow like crazy.
WAFFLES: So, Boss? What's a hooky? Do I need ice skates to play? Or a hooky puck?
KATIE: Please make him stop. I thought today was supposed to be all about napping by the fire. Quietly napping.
We're all bracing for our biggest snow of the season. On Monday, we could get as much as 12" up here in the mountains. Even down in the flats, Denver is talking big about the white stuff. And another 4-5" will come down on Tuesday.
So Glogirly did all here Thanksgiving shopping Sunday. (As did everyone else apparently!) The stores were crazy busy. She's cooking for 8 this Thursday and after she unloaded all the groceries, it was like an advanced game of Tetris to make everything fit in the fridge. Good thing for Glogirly, she's always been really good at Tetris.
Once the snow starts falling today, we'll all be enjoying a little lounge time by the fire.
Hope you all have a great snow day and wonderful Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteThat last image of Waffles is spectacular! Look at his eyes!
ReplyDeleteWe are off to my mother's house for dinner on Thursday; so our fridge won't be groaning like yours!
