Where'd the Internet Go?

WAFFLES:  BOSS! The internet's gone! The internet's gone!

Boss?

WAFFLES:  Hello? Anyone?

KATIE:  Waffles.

WAFFLES:  Boss! The internet's gone and I thought it took you with it.

KATIE:  It's just a temporary outage up here in our little canyon, Waffles. Charlie our internet guy already told us not to worry. It will be back up in no time. Remain calm. Your online girlfriends will be there when you get back.

WAFFLES:  Nobody messes with my girlfriends.

About Today's Photos
Getting used to mountain life has it's ups and downs. We lost our internet yesterday. Waffles was distraught he wanted to put up some "LOST" flyers in hopes that someone would find it.

But a quick phone call to Charlie, our friendly neighborhood Century Link tech, was all it took to find out it wasn't just us but our whole canyon. He gave us an ETA on when we'd be up and running. When we lived in the city, we didn't know any of the Century Link techs by name. And we certainly didn't have their cell phone number!

  4. If my human was somewhere where the internet went out, she would be on her way to wherever it was ON! She likes to say she lives inside the computer... and it is kind of true. Which is why she'll always be a big city girl.

  10. Ah welcome to the mountains! We used to lose internet regularly, along with power, in Duvall... it would come back, normally pretty quickly, but there were often snuggle times to be had with the power off...

  14. Whoa! I hope this isn't an ongoing thing unless you want to get to know Charlie better, of course.
