WAFFLES: BOSS! The internet's gone! The internet's gone!
WAFFLES: Hello? Anyone?
WAFFLES: Boss! The internet's gone and I thought it took you with it.
KATIE: It's just a temporary outage up here in our little canyon, Waffles. Charlie our internet guy already told us not to worry. It will be back up in no time. Remain calm. Your online girlfriends will be there when you get back.
WAFFLES: Nobody messes with my girlfriends.
About Today's PhotosGetting used to mountain life has it's ups and downs. We lost our internet yesterday. Waffles was distraught he wanted to put up some "LOST" flyers in hopes that someone would find it.
But a quick phone call to Charlie, our friendly neighborhood Century Link tech, was all it took to find out it wasn't just us but our whole canyon. He gave us an ETA on when we'd be up and running. When we lived in the city, we didn't know any of the Century Link techs by name. And we certainly didn't have their cell phone number!
Doood! That's, like, living in the WILDERNESS and stuffs! ~MaxwellReplyDelete
Welcome to country life! Now, we need to talk about getting Waffles some "pet" chick-hens...ReplyDelete
Life in the boonies. Usually only one provider and you hope for the best. Hope you are back soonReplyDelete
Small town life is great that way!ReplyDelete
If my human was somewhere where the internet went out, she would be on her way to wherever it was ON! She likes to say she lives inside the computer... and it is kind of true. Which is why she'll always be a big city girl.ReplyDelete
Waffles, we've never seen you look so fierce.ReplyDelete
It's a whole other world up there in the mountains Waffles. Don't worry, your girlfriends know where to find you. I'm glad Katie is there to calm you. And Charlie too!ReplyDelete
Welcome to country living! Don't worry Waffles!ReplyDelete
That's hard when the internet goes down. Enjoy your weekend.ReplyDelete
tough to lose your online connection, but nice to have someone to call :)ReplyDelete
Ah welcome to the mountains! We used to lose internet regularly, along with power, in Duvall... it would come back, normally pretty quickly, but there were often snuggle times to be had with the power off...ReplyDelete
Wow, that's nice service.ReplyDelete
Poor Waffles , that is a crisis.ReplyDelete
Hahaha. No one messes with Waffles' girlfriends ... does that include Katie, Waffles?ReplyDelete
We wonder if this is gonna be a regular occurrence now that you are mountain folk.ReplyDelete
Whoa! I hope this isn't an ongoing thing unless you want to get to know Charlie better, of course.ReplyDelete
The joy of country life... We get if from time to time too, but we don't know any "Charlie", we just know "wait and see" MOL ! PurrsReplyDelete
