WAFFLES: Hey Boss, I bet all the ladies are going to be super impressed with my new bachelor pad.
KATIE: *yawn*
WAFFLES: Boss?
KATIE: Waffles, this isn't your bachelor pad. This is Gloman and Glogirly's Minneapolis apartment. It's where we stay when we're city cats, as opposed to Colorado mountain cats.
WAFFLES: I still say this should be my bachelor pad. A handsome mancat needs his own pad.
About Today's Photos
When Waffles and Katie aren't taking in the mountain views and neighboring wildlife in Colorado, they're lounging high above the city lights of Minneapolis.
Although our Minneapolis "Townhouse" is no more, (we hear a DOG has moved in - GASP!!!) our new Minneapolis apartment sits high atop one of the tallest buildings in the city and has a twinkling lights view of the theater district and skyline. This is where Gloman is based while he manages his business and continues to work.
He's been making regular trips to Colorado though to visit. According to Waffles, there's no lap like Gloman's lap.
Today's photos were taken just a couple of days before Glogirly, Katie and Waffles left for Colorado. They probably won't be road tripping back to Minnesota though until all the boxes are unpacked and the snow has melted.
" until ... the snow has melted. " The Colorado snow or the Minnesota snow?
ReplyDeleteWaffles does look a peeved. Although I suspect if he were all alone in that pad he would not be very happy
ReplyDeleteWe hope you are not traveling cats!
ReplyDeleteI think your new pad is awesome - even though it's not strictly a bachelor pad!
ReplyDeleteI say if ya calls it a bachelor pad, it's a bachelor pad.
ReplyDeleteDo you have Bird TV at that height?!?
ReplyDeleteTwo new places at once! Your furry heads must have been spinning.
ReplyDeleteI know all of you are having so much fun unpacking boxes and exploring. We still miss having you "just down the road", but we know that you are going to settle in like mountain pros. Stereo purrs from Hemingway and Steinbeck, hugs from Pam
ReplyDeleteJust think, Waffles...two places to eat your chicken!
ReplyDeletegood thing you two are already experienced flyers!!
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Two new places to explore! As a cat mom who has been maintaining two separate residences for almost four years while cat dad is working many states away (it was just supposed to be one) it's kinda hard to feel at home anywhere.
ReplyDeleteDoes the snow really melt in those Colorado mountains? You should have a contest to see what date it is finally all gone.
ReplyDeleteBut still, a bachelor pad for Waffles. What will he need next? A roadster? A martini? Hmm...
ReplyDeleteWhoa! A lot of upheaval in you guys' life lately. Seem to be taking it better than I would.
ReplyDeleteSnow?!? Everyone has snow but us!
ReplyDeleteI think it's totally your bachelor pad, Waffles!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Poor Waffles ... he just wants to entertain the ladies ;)
ReplyDeleteWaffles you look disappointed. But don't worry, we're sure you can find yourself a mancave in both places. :)
ReplyDeleteA bachelor pad would be nice wouldn't it Waffles?
ReplyDeletePurrfect timing on the first pic. A delux apartment in the sky for Waffles.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you move to CO?
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need your own pad, Waff.
ReplyDeleteSettling into your pad with big dreams young man eh?!
ReplyDeleteWell Waffles you can share that bachelor pad with Gloman!
