Waffles is Hatching Up Some Ideas About the New Hatch™ Pet Carrier

WAFFLES:  Hatch, little chickens! Hatch!

KATIE:  Waffles, what on earth are you doing?

WAFFLES:  Hatching chickens. Once they hatch I'll have one, two, fourteen–

KATIE:  Waffles, you can't hatch eggs.

WAFFLES:  That's not what Glogirly said. Didn't you hear her talking about a new hatch thing? I'm just getting ready for it.

KATIE:  Waffles, HATCH™ is a new pet carrier.

WAFFLES:  Well does it hatch chicken eggs and stuff? Because that would be really–

KATIE:  –pet carrier, Waffles. PET CARRIER. You know, for going on road trips and vacations and *shudder* even to the vet.

WAFFLES:  Does Dr. Karlin like hatching chickens too?

KATIE:  *sigh*

Hello Hatch
Introducing the Hatch Pet Carrier. The very first carrier that allows the pet parent to reach directly inside through a patented Direct Reach no-escape pet access feature.

WAFFLES:  You mean like a hatch?

Easy Access
If you've ever tried to unzip your cat's carrier to reach in and pet them or give them a treat, you know what we're talking about. Underneath that soft fur lies a feline Houdini. The Direct Reach feature solves this problem with a simple turn of the knob.

Turn it one way to open the access hatch.  This will create an opening big enough to slip a hand through for some comforting pets and neck scritches, without allowing kitty to escape. Turn the other way to close.

Made From Love
The Hatch Carrier was created by a cat man and animal rescuer and advocate - someone who really loves and understands cats - who wanted to be sure our loved felines could be comforted during stressful times in a safe manner.

Beautiful, Functional & Cat Friendly
The special access port is just one of many cool and innovative features.
  • Custom molded EVA base
  • Custom padded shoulder strap
  • Removable and machine washable interior pet bed
  • Entire front panel and both ends open for easy pet loading
  • Large zipper pockets on both sides
  • Ballistic nylon exterior
  • Large open air mesh windows on side and ends for excellent ventilation
  • Seat belt straps for safe car rides
  • Roll-aboard luggage handle strap
  • Packs flat for easy packing and storage

The Hatch carrier measures 13″ high by 19″ long and 11″ wide and is recommended for pets up to 15 lbs. The top can be compressed to 11″ high when needed to fit in smaller spaces. Plans are in the works for a carrier to accommodate larger pets once Hatch successfully launches.

WAFFLES:  So about those chicken eggs...

  8. It looks like a cool PTU...though you know how us cats feel about PTUs! Be careful with those eggs, Waffles, you don't want them to end up scrambled.

  9. Oh it looks like a nice PTU and we need another one (we're down to two after the move--our fancy leopard print soft sided one that we had packed got broken--can you believe it? They BROKE a soft sided carrier. Mom was so mad) so we'll take a look.

  21. I love it! I wish my Jack would love carriers too. I'm looking for something like this. He has not gone to a vet in his adult life yet because he's so scared. :( I need to find a solution for him. Thanks for sharing this guys! Waffles, you look pretty interested already. Can you give some pointers to Jack?
