KATIE: Waffles, if sunshine makes you so high, what are you doing down here?
Tree Dwellers & Ground Dwellers
Waffles is the consummate tree dweller. If he could walk on the ceiling, he would. And yes... he's tried. Katie is happiest with her paws firmly on the ground. Or firmly on her lounger. There's something of an unwritten agreement between them that the skyscraper cat trees are Waffles-only terrain and the loungers with a window view belong to Katie.
WAFFLES: But if it's unwritten it doesn't count, right?
Boodie's our ground dweller! I'm kind of all over the place, and so is Binga!

ReplyDeleteI used to be a tree dweller but now I’m more a ground dweller. I wish when I was younger I could have had a tree that touched our 16 ft ceiling.

ReplyDeleteWe love your version of this song. In our house Tabitha and Mr. Chivers are tree dwellers. Chloe and I being the oldest at 17 yrs. are ground dwellers. Mom has bunches of foot stools and little steps to help us climb on ALL furniture. MOL. Sunshine makes me happy! Purrs, Greyson

We love sunshine! Ichiro is a tree dweller and Gemini is mostly a bush cat, but sometimes, she likes to be UP HIGH. Chey--Chey is cool wherever there is a cat bed she hasn't slept in for a few hours...

Loved being hearing your beautiful voices singing today - M said she loves that song and will now have it running thru her head all day. Mario said he's with Katie - he prefers things not quite so high up - a little high is okay, but not scraping the ceiling. Your pictures are adorable again.

ReplyDeleteMy orange boy is a climber too, the higher the better. My other boy a tuxie, like Katie, likes chairs and the floor. Maybe the bedroom window sill if he can get into it. After all he is 16. I too will have that song in my head all day and night.
