Hi everybuddy. Waffles Too here.
The Boss doesn't really like today's photohunt theme (*citrus*) so she tole me I could do the blog post. I guess lots of cats don't like the smell of oranges and limes and stuff. And I don't think the Boss likes helmets much either. But she says I'll stick MY head anywhere.
I figure this will buy me a little more time in her blue chair.
KATIE: Don't count on it, Waffles.
Hey everyone... if you subscribe to our blog via email, you may have noticed our blog post updates are looking a little different. We're switching over to Mail Chimp and we're going to tell you all about it TOMORROW. It's pretty cool!
In case you haven't heard, Google Reader is going away July 1. So if that's how you like to read our blog and others, you might want to consider subscribing by entering your email address in the new form at the top of our sidebar.
If you were already subscribed through Google's Feedburner, we've transferred your email addresses over to our new system. But if you haven't heard from us in the past couple of days, you should probably check your spam filter. And if we're still MIA, please sign up again in the new box. Thank you!
Pee S:
Feedburner is not going away...so don't panic. We just decided to make the switch because we like the features of Mail Chimp so much more. And it's cute.
That orange in black would remind me of a Cleopatra look.... But Waffles is sort of the color of a citrus fruit...
ReplyDeleteThe Farm cats are not fond of the smell of citrus and Harry is not fond of orange in general. You and he have that in common Katie...
ReplyDeleteWaffles, you are making our Mommy think about Sangria. That makes her happy. Thanks! MOL!
ReplyDeleteCitrus is the one thing Truffle doesn't try to eat from Mom Paula's plate.
ReplyDeleteMaxwell: uhm, W2 dood. Don't look now but there's a lime on your head.
ReplyDeleteFaRADaY: Mail Chimp? Does that mean you guys get to swing around with some cool apes, cuz I'm SO in!
We kitties here don't like citrus either - in fact, I decided to do something else today instead. After seeing Waffles, I am kind of glad I made this decision!
ReplyDeleteWe are following you on Feedly. My human (my tech person) said I am keeping my email subscriptions on Feedburner for now. She only wants to switch over if they announce they're getting rid of that for sure.
Very citrusy, Waffles. I bet it feels sticky under there.
ReplyDeleteWe hate citrus too. We think Waffles looks the cutest in the lime cap! Happy Caturday!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...there is another blogger that uses MailChimp and it makes it harder to read...will wait and see what happens.
ReplyDeleteWhat I miss is I used to get your posts one by one and now I am getting them in one email (a few per email)...I prefer the daily updates!
Caren,
DeleteWith our new set up you will still be receiving one email per day with just that day's post featured. (just like the old way) In addition, there are now a few small links at the bottom of the email for recent posts, in case you may have missed something you're interested in seeing. But in terms of the main body of the email, it's only one blog post in it's entirety.
: )
If you or anyone else experiences trouble in reading the email, please send us feedback. You can just click reply to the email and your response will come straight to us. For example, we can change things like the size of the type, etc...
THANK YOU!
We make the "stinky face" at citrus. And if the head peep tried to put a orange peel on our head... watch out!
ReplyDeleteWe follow you on Feedly. There are a lot of technical changes going on with the demise of Google Reader, but Feedly seems to be stable, and following 250+ blogs by email would be too overwhelming. We'll be interested to hear how mail chimp works out for you. The head peep heard good and bad things about it.
You are looking fruity and cutie Waffles!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking fruity and cutie Waffles!
ReplyDeleteYou're the kind of CITRUS anyone would love!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Awesome helmets, Waffles! I should see if my mom would make one for me!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
Mommy wants to smell your head, Waffles.
ReplyDeleteWe KNOW!
Moosey is undecided about citrus. Mostly because he is interested in ANYTHING we are eating. But he says "definitely not" when it comes to helmets. :)
ReplyDeleteha ha Waffles, you are too too too too cute! Sorry Katie - you missed the boat on wearing those citrus helmets! Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI bet Waffles is saying, Mom, you should try it too to see how you like it.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was only Google reader that was disappearing? Mail subscription too then? In any case, I will start following you through Bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteWaffle´s my mom think´s you are soooo adorable !!!
ReplyDeleteMe I think you are a really goofus ;-)
xoxo
Oh Waffles! You never fail to entertain us! We can't even begin to imagine Katie doing something like this! Purrs from the Zee and Zoey gang!
ReplyDeleteHate to be a spoiler here W2 but I've seen a cat on Twitter I believe with the exact same helmet. At least Katie is original. Did I do that OK, Katie?
ReplyDeleteGreat twist on the famous pic. We opted out of "citrus" because cats aren't keen on the scent. Happy Catnippy Caturday!
ReplyDeleteWaffles, we think you look silly.
ReplyDeleteI've always used the Dashboard. I hope That doesn't go away....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh
ReplyDeleteSnorts,

ReplyDeleteYou just need one of those silly umbrella thingies sticking out of you and you'd be a Waffles cocktail! ;)
ReplyDeleteW2 is just a furry little fruit salad, isn't he? so cute. Good luck with the email change over. something about this blogging business makes Mrs. Whatsername bang her head against the key board on a pretty regular basis these days. glad to see you've figured it out.
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh...a good friend has been using that first one (green helmet) as his geocaching and FB avatars for years now...
ReplyDeleteWaffles is SO cute...with or without the citrus helmet! He is cavity causing sweet....and I love that he calls Katie "Boss"....smart little ginger!
ReplyDeleteyup, no wonder the boss let ya do the post today W2...no way would I stick my head in that stoopid looking fruity helmet either...just sayin'...waves paws to Katie...(I feel your pain...)
