Ouch


Hi everyone, Katie here.

Glogirly went to the dentist yesterday. She said they drilled so deep she thought she might all end up in China. She also said the girl with the rubber gloves that kept sticking stuff in her mouth was named...get this...KATIE.  Seriously?

Yeah right, and the dentist was Dr. Waffles.

I think she had a bit too much of the goofy gas.





Um. This isn't gonna hurt a bit.  Um, it's gonna hurt a LOT.

    Yikes, thank goodness it's over. I had to cancel my dental appointment today and now I'm dreading it even more. Maybe we should be knocked out cold like for feline dentistry?

    The biped had the goofy gas one time. As she was leaving the office she forgot to move her foot when she opened the door and she smashed/broke her toe. She giggled all the way to the car even with a severely bent toe.

    Big ouch! We hope that Glogirly's mouth feels better soon. The last time our head peep had that kind of dental work, she had to get a prescription filled afterward. The pharmacist said the usual "can you verify your address?" and then had to hide a laugh at the head peep's zombie-like mumbled attempts to pronounce an answer.

    There might be a market for those pink drills like Waffles is using in that picture above, though hopefully for drilling wood, not teeth!

    Mom said she has a dentist appointment on Monday and her dentist is on vacation so they asked if she would mind seeing the "new" dentist. Mom??? Why are you all sweaty and shaky????

    Dear Dr. Waffles,
    I believe I have an appointment with you at 2:20 on Monday. Please be gentle with me. I promise I will bring nip,(for later, not during the appointment) noms, and a shiny new Neko flier for you. Oh yeah, and I'll pay the cat sitter to stop by casually to play with you. And, uh... well, whatever it takes... whew.

    Poor Glogirly! Mom Paula had six surgeries on her mouth because of an incompetent dentist who crowned an abscessed tooth. She hopes your mom's dental procedure goes lots better.
