Hi everyone, Flat Katie here.
We made it.
- 2,732 miles
- 16 gas stations
- 5 rest stops
- 4 hotels
- 1 fabulous BlogPaws conference
- ...and 0 speeding tickets
Minneapolis was looking pretty beautiful with only 91 miles next to it's name. The swag-mobile pulled into the townhouse garage at 6:17 pm CST. It took FIVE trips up the stairs to haul in all the BlogPaws loot. Real Katie doesn't know this yet...but there's some very *special* outfits for her. As in fashion. As in get-me-the-fluff-outta-this-dress. Word is there will be an official photo shoot later this week. heh heh.
Glogirly and I are both in dire need of an 8-10 hour cat nap, so you'll have to wait for the BlogPaws download. In the meantime, I leave you with a few Flat Katie Observations from the road.
Left - "I showed THEM!"
Right - "Where the heck are the treadmills?"
Left - "But I don't WANNA clean the windshield. These bugs are already dead."
Right - "Seriously? We are NOT stopping HERE for gas."

ReplyDeleteGlad you had so much fun. You should tell those BlogPaws folk to come to Missoula year after next
ReplyDeleteThat picture of the lady walking the dog is crazy!! Wow! Maybe the sign needs to read 'pet and human exercise area."
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home safe.
greet :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome home!
ReplyDeleteWho the heck designed the Pet Exercise area sign? That is just weird.
Uh-oh, once those outfits come out, Katie may not be all that thrilled that Glogirly came home!
ReplyDeleteFortunately for me, my human missed the clothing there!
Flat Katie, Glogirly didn't really make you work out, did she?? You're flat enough!
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys made it home safe and sound!
Wow that's a whole lotta miles. Glad you are home with the loot. BlogPaws swag is amazing!
ReplyDeletei hope you stopped at cabelas in owatonna and picked up some animal smelling thing for katie.
ReplyDeleteBet you were glad to finally get home. Guess you will get to rest up until next year.
ReplyDeleteLOL, we liked the photos, and we're glad you made it home safely.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home guys! I'm glad you had a great time. Hope you're planning on going next year cos it's in Furginia and TW WILL BE THERE! I missed Flat Katie bouncing in the air. As soon as I won the phone started ringing with all my furrends and the press and all. I didn't even hear plush CK's speech. Last year, TW gave the clothes she brought home to the little Scottie in 406 and all the dog swag went to the shelter. Now go take a nap.
ReplyDeleteYay - You're home!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Katie in her outfits!! :)
I found some Cat Food in my swag - maybe I'll try it and see if you guys get better stuff than us? :)
Wags to all,
Your Doggie pal Snoopy :)
Yipppeeeeee, thank goodness for cheese
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily

Welcome back flat Katie and Glogirly!
ReplyDeleteAllie: Um. Outfits? As in...CLOTHING??
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like bling (what girl wouldn't?) I have Strict Limits on how far a human can expect to go in accenting my lovely self.
Anything below the neck and...well... *snick!*
Yep, these pink claw covers wouldn't stop ME from extracting a little blood...!
Glad you made it home, especially with 0 speeding tickets!
ReplyDeleteHome = Purrfect!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Flat Katie and Glogirly! We eagerly await the Photoshoot. :D
ReplyDeleteFive trips Glogirly really loaded up on the swag at blogpaws. Katie who knows you might be like Coco and Daisy and really strut down the catwalk in your new clothes.
