WAFFLES:  Uh, yeah I'd like three-piece meal, extra crispy, lots of gravy, hold the mush potatoes. And can I get that to go?

KATIE:  Mmmmm.... nothing quite like the taste of fresh, crispy chicken. That gravy was divine.

WAFFLES:  Hey! How did you get in front of me???  I was here first!

KATIE:  Drive thru.

We want to thank YOU, all of our friends and readers, for your undying support in the mike's® HARDER can contest. You supported us with votes and defended us when the nay-sayers started nay-saying. By the time most of you read this the voting polls will have closed. (3:00 am EST) Now it's up to mike's.

There's some truly amazing talent represented in the 370+ designs that were submitted. It would sure be fun to win, but we're keeping our expectations in check. We know our designs are out-of-the-box and therefore somewhat of a long shot. But you know what? You all make us feel like we're already winners every single day. And that's a feeling that lasts long after any contest or can.

It will likely be a number of weeks before we know the outcome...but you'll be the first to know! One thing's for sure... whether mike's chooses Dragon Kitty or not, they have heard us LOUD & CLEAR... and they'll never forget us.

As much as we all love making you laugh, giggle and snicker... the days that mean the most to us are days like yesterday.

Your thoughtful and loving comments on our post about the kitties of Minnesota's Feline Rescue have warmed our hearts. We truly have the most awesome-ist friends and readers in the whole world. (Click HERE if you missed our post.)

Sure, we love wearing funny Photoshop costumes, driving Photoshop cars, playing Photoshop pianos– Truth be told, I spend hours a day dreaming up new ways to poke fun at Waffles. And trust me, when it comes to ridiculous inspiration, he never disappoints.

But at the end of the day, we're here because of our love for animals and our love for each other. And YOU, our friends and readers, are at the top of the list.

So from all of us here at the Townhouse, thank you for making us part of your day.

Broken Hearts, Broken Dreams

Hi everyone, Katie here.

Our hearts go out to the children, teachers & families affected by yesterday's tragic events in Newtown, Connecticut. We have no words. Only tears.

We'll be back tomorrow with our usual laughs and our Saturday Photohunt post. But today is for family, hugs, cuddles and I love you's.

We don't say it often enough. We love YOU, our friends and readers, so very much. Just knowing we've made you giggle or grin makes our hearts soar. Thank you for sharing the world with us and making us smile.
