WAFFLES:  Hey Boss! You're not playing with that fetch toy are you?

KATIE:  You mean this toy right here? Right next to me? The one my whiskers are already touching? You mean that toy?

WAFFLES:  Uh... yeah?  I mean, it's not like you're chasing it or anything.

KATIE:  Or anything? How do YOU know I'm not doing anything with this toy?

WAFFLES:  You mean THIS toy?

KATIE:  *sigh* Is NOTHING safe from your sticky pink paws?





WAFFLES:  Uh... that would be a 'no'.

We're certain the shelter cats will enjoy LOTS of napping and playtime in this beautiful bed during what we can only hope are short stays before they find their forever homes.

WAFFLES:  Found it! It was in the bathroom. It must have had to go.

KATIE:  Yeah, well maybe you should follow your fetch toy's lead and just ...GO. 

WAFFLES:  But Boss, I already went. I don't have to go.

KATIE:  That's not the kind of *go* I'm talking about.

WAFFLES:  Don't worry Fetch Toy, the Boss doesn't REALLY want us to go.

KATIE:  REALLY???

WAFFLES:  Sheesh, someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the new year.

WAFFLES:  The REALLY wrong side.

Waffles Wednesday: Window Walking Weirdo

Hi everyone Katie here.

Since Waffles monopolized yesterday's blog with the kitty lounger giveaway, I'm taking this Wednesday back.

We all know he's a little wet behind the ears. No argument there.

A couple waffles short of a full breakfast.
A few fries short of a happy meal.
A few Bradys short of a bunch.


And lately, he's been exhibiting what can only be described as questionable...
...ok, downright crazy behavior.  As you would expect, I have proof.

EXHIBIT A:
Either he's decided that walking on the floors is too pedestrian, so he's decided to walk UP the windows, or he's blatantly spying on the neighborhood dog.

EXHIBIT B:
Seriously Waffles?  I can totally see you. Plus, do you REALIZE that's a PTU you're *hiding* in???

EXHIBIT C: 

If you were on Facebook yesterday, you may have heard that Waffles has taken to the dogs. He's playing fetch now.  Next thing you know, he'll be coming when Glogirly calls, bringing Gloman his slippers. I fear he may be making the rest of us cats look bad.

I'm watching you, Waffles. Like a hawk
