You DON'T Have This In My Size Do You?

Hi everyone, Katie here.

I like shopping. Really I do. As much as I loathe the doorbell-ringing UPS man, he often shows up with something cool for me. A new scratcher, a catnip tomato, even the Furminator wasn't so bad. But when I woke up Saturday morning and sauntered down the steps to my dish, you would not BELIEVE the horror I saw.

A cat-sized clothing boutique.  Strangely, everything was my size. Humans dream of stuff like this. But I tell you, this was NO dream.

Trouble ...Trouble
I should have known there was trouble when Glogirly returned home from BlogPaws with the entire Bret Michaels Pets Rock Collection by PetSmart stuffed into a nondescript paper bag. She was all nonchalant about it, but I saw the studs, crosses, skulls, PLEATHER...certainly nothing that looked like a cat toy. Truth be told it's all DOG clothes. Word in the alley is that a cat line is on the horizon. Great. I can't wait.  *rolls eyes*

It wasn't until Glogirly and Gloman swarmed me that I saw the cameras and the lighting. I had been ambushed. Looking at the lineup of outfits, their intentions became quickly clear.

So I did what any self-respecting cat would do. I complained, protested, squirmed and then... I negotiated. A full container of freeze dried salmon lay in wait. Fresh, never been opened, and MINE. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and willed it to all be over.

What's so cool about studs and skulls anyway?

Ok, at least it's pink. But horizontal stripes? Seriously?

I've really gotta suck it in to fit in this hoodie.
No wonder the boyz wear their pants down around their knees.

Ok, Rock Star Dracula. I can do this.
I've got fangs and I know how to use them.

I have many questions. But one in particular haunts me. Where, oh WHERE, is Flat Katie when I need her?
