Hi everyone, Katie here.

I've decided to give the UPS man another chance. All that door knocking and doorbell ringing....I'd about had it with him.

Until yesterday.

He brought me a big long tube all the way from the UK!  My friend Austin at (CAT)achresis sent me a pressie for helping him fancy-up his blog.

I've heard stories about Da Bird.
I've read reviews of Da Bird.
I've even seen many of you in action with Da Bird.

Well kitties, I have died and gone to heaven. In fact when I really do show up at the pearly gates, I'm certain they'll be handing out Da Birds to ALL the kitties.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Did you know that it spins and flutters through the air just like a REAL bird?

I played so hard I needed a second dinner and then went off to bed early.

Blogging is a beautiful thing. It makes a big and scary world a smaller, friendlier place. With a few tap-taps on the keyboard we're in Australia, Malaysia, the UK, even New Jersey.  It's pretty cool when you think about it. And it's the greatest gift that blogging has given us is friends in every corner of the world.

WAFFLES:  BOSS!  LOOK OUT!

*toot-toot* *toot-toot* (bus horn blares)

BUS DRIVER:  You're bloody going the wrong way, you Yank! 

KATIE:  Sheesh. They don't know how to drive. They meow with silly accents. Keep calm and carry on my fluffy-

WAFFLES:  Um, Boss? The PGS thingy says you're sposed to turn left.

KATIE:  We're here. Waffles, you grab the Macbook, and I'll get the Design Scene tape up. We've got to move fast.

WAFFLES:  Um Boss? Then what?

KATIE:  Just make sure no one crosses the line. No cheesy clip art. No comic sans font. 

WAFFLES:  Huh? 

KATIE:  Ok, Waffles our work here is done. 

WAFFLES:  Um, Boss?  Is the mergency over then? 

WAFFLES:  Yes, Waffles. Another cat has a brand new GLOGIRLY DESIGN look. The blogosphere can breathe easy tonight.

Hi everyone, Miss Katie here.

Well what do you know! A few of my students were actually paying attention last week to my How To GIF lesson. If they plan on bribing me with that apple to get a good grade, well they've chosen the wrong food group. Speak to me in salmon, pupils.

Apples aside, the students did an awesome job on their very first GIF's.  (that's animation for those of you who slept through class last week.)

Meet BUGS from Catself

Bugs did his level best to explain the fine art of Giffing to his human.  Must have taken a long time though considering all the extra shuteye he got in.  Not to mention the disinterest he showed when his eyes were actually OPEN.  Half way.

Meet MALOU from Critters In The Cottage  

Malou exhibited by far the most patience with her human's Giffing attempts. Note the erect posture and interested tilt of her head.  But her glazed over eyes tell a different story.  A *do-you-have-it-now?*  *ok-how-about-now?*  *now?*  *please-Cod-now?* story.

And meet AUSTIN, from CATachresis 

With a blog name like that, he BETTER be a good student.  The jury's still out on whether that's an indifferent yawn or a *bloody-hurry-up-already* followed by obvious disdain.  I'm guessing the latter.  Word across the pond is that Austin's human has been playing around with Photoshop into the wee hours.  That can only lead to worldwide web embarrassment.  Given that, Austin's display is appropriate indeed.

Well done, students!  For your efforts I give you each a VERY respectable A-minus. I had to take SOMETHING off for the apple gaff. Next time, show me some salmon.
