A hundred years ago, way back in 2014, we started a weekly feature called TV Trips. Though the magic of Photoshop, we spoofed some of our favorite classic television shows. One of the first shows we did remains one of our all-time faves. It's got everything, after all. A cool theme song with lyrics that are easy to remember. Save-the-world crime fighters. And of course, capes. We got to wear capes.
KATIE: Waffles, that's not how it goes.
WAFFLES: Holy Theme Song, Boss! Did I mess up the number of na-na's?
KATIE: No, you've got the na-na's down. But the show is called BATCAT & Waffles. Not Waffles & Batcat.
WAFFLES: Holy Wand Toys, Boss! I think WAFFLES & Batcat sounds much better.
KATIE: Holy Dyslexia, Waffles. Let's just get on with it, okay?

ReplyDeleteI just watched an episode of "The Big Bang Theory", that starred Adam West, as he rated the other 'Batmans' that came after him; it was hilarious! As a kid, my family watched that TV show religiously, with Burgess Meredith at The Penguin, Vincent Price as Egghead, and Cesar Romero as The Joker!
