WAFFLES: Happy Easter, Boss! Are you ready for your Easter dinner?
KATIE: Yes. And I suppose you're ready for my Easter dinner too.
WAFFLES: How'd you know?
KATIE: Educated guess.
KATIE: How about you go high-five someone else?
WAFFLES: But I like high-fiving you.
KATIE: Whoa, whoa, whoa, Waffles! That's no high-
WAFFLES: High-five, down low, to the side, too slow.
KATIE: *sigh* Teenagers.
About Today's Photos
Yesterday we celebrated a quiet Easter at home. A little Netflix, a little nap (or two), and a delicious dinner. Chicken for Waffles, turkey for Katie and French toast for Glogirly. Preceded by a quick photo shoot in the kitchen.
According to Katie though, not quick enough!
Poor Katie. Waffles is always up in her bizness
ReplyDeleteKatie, it's too bad that you couldn't convince the Easter Bunny to hire Waffles as an apprentice. Then he would only be in your hair once a year.
ReplyDeleteFrench toast for Easter - that got my human's attention! I was more interested in the chicken and turkey.
ReplyDeleteHope Katie got to eat her turkey..... teenagers are hard to control.
ReplyDeleteYou put your paw on Katie, Waffles ? And nothing happened ? Are you OK, Katie ? French toast, chicken and turkey sound yummy ! Purrs
