Waiting for Gloman

KATIE:  I've got to hand it to you, Waffles. That poem of yours, as lame as it was, really worked. 

WAFFLES:  What poem?

KATIE:  The one to Gloman? You know, roses are red...

WAFFLES:  It DID??? So he's really bringing me a bucket of chicken all the way from Minnesota? I hope they let him bring gravy on the plane. Do you think he'll get extra crispy or–

KATIE:  Enough already with the chicken and gravy, Waffles. The good news is Gloman's coming home to Colorado next week.

WAFFLES:  What do you mean, enough already with the chicken and gravy? There's never enough chicken and gravy.


KATIE:  Chicken is Waffles' shiny object. He just can't look away. 

Homecoming
When we posted Waffles' love poem to Gloman on our blog Wednesday, we honestly didn't think he'd be able to come and visit this month. He's already got plans to be here early in September, and with things being super busy, August wasn't looking good. 

But before Glogirly had her morning tea, we got an email with the good news. Gloman's coming home for a long weekend next week! YAY! 

Waffles may be fixated on food now, but once Gloman is here we're certain it's going to be a lap-love-fest. 

But the most touching part of Gloman's homecoming is Katie. Once the door opens and she hears his voice, her ears will perk up and she'll come trotting over to him with the happiest spring in her step. She's a CatDaddy's girl.
