Pie Oh My

WAFFLES:  Holy Cat, Boss! You should see this flying saucer.  

KATIE:  Careful, Waffles. You know how Gloman feels about his strawberry-rhubarb.

WAFFLES:  A strawberry-rhubarb flying saucer? 

KATIE:  No, Waffles. It's a pie. 

WAFFLES:  You mean pies can FLY? Like flying saucers? No one's going to believe we have a flying pie in our kitchen. We better watch it really close or it might disappear or something.

KATIE:  That's exactly what Glogirly said.

Now You See It, Now You Don't

Since this is Gloman's first visit to the mountain house since our new kitchen appliances were installed, Glogirly's been cooking and baking all of his favorite things. Strawberry-rhubarb pie is right at the top of that list. So much at the top, in fact, that today's photos aren't really representative of what remains of the strawberry-rhubarb.

As Gloman would say, "Pie? What pie?"

It was DELICIOUS.
