Christmas Cats Countdown

WAFFLES:  One, two, three, chicken –


KATIE:  Waffles, you're not playing hide and seek again are you? 


WAFFLES:  NO. I'm counting down the days until Santa comes. When does he come again?

KATIE:  Sunday, Waffles. Christmas is Sunday. 


WAFFLES:  Are we sure he knows where we live? 

KATIE:  I think you should be more concerned about the whole naughty-nice list thing.


WAFFLES:  There's a LIST thing? What kind of list thing?

 KATIE:  A LONG list thing.
  1. The kitchen cupboard incident
  2. The garbage can incident
  3. The MANY powder room incidents
  4. The bathtub incident
  5. The big milk spill incident
  6. The security alarm incident
  7. The beef tenderloin incident
WAFFLES:  Beef tenderloin?



Merry, Merry Countdown!
Just two days until the man in red squeezes down our chimney! Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year. Presents are fun, boxes with tissue, toys and treats... But we all get a little misty and sentimental here too. For us, Christmastime is sprinkled with memories of special moments and those people and pets that have left their imprint on our hearts.


Thank you for letting us into your hearts and homes all these years. Your friendship and smiles mean the world to us. We wish you and your families a joyous holiday filled with love, wonder and wishes that come true.

    Christmas is a hard time for me. Too many things have happened over the years. Last Christmas was my first one without my deaf hound girl, Ran. This year is our first Christmas since losing our senior can, Koneko, and our senior Coonhound, Suki. However, there is a bright, shining light this year. The little feral kitten who was just two weeks old when I found her and who I had to bottle feed at first - Kotoha - just turned six months old yesterday and this is her first Christmas. I'll get to see two of my daughters at least part of Christmas day, but all my furbabies will be with me and I plan on giving them the best Christmas I can. I hope you have a great holiday.

    Hmmm ... looks like Katie has your number, Waffles. Maybe you could be EXTRA nice to her and see where that gets you (though it probably won't involve her food)?
