WAFFLES: Olly Olly Oxen Cheese! Mmm... cheese.
WAFFLES: So where's the cheese?
Play is like Waffles' oxygen. Neither Glogirly or Gloman has ever known a cat to be so completely obsessed with playing. He tells them when it's time to get the red dot out. He decides when it's time for a game of fetch... about 5 times a day. And he will not be ignored.
He also loves making his own fun. From climbing the powder room door frame, to twirling down the steps and sprinting back up... he's the ultimate gamer. Hide and Seek is another one of his faves, both with and without Katie.
Katie's still got game. One of her favorites is crinkle ball floor hockey. And when she plays, Waffles is absolutely transfixed. Even a piece of chicken won't distract him.

ReplyDeleteWhen Bear wants to play ... you better play, otherwise things start breaking. I've learned the hard way. Luckily, he usually has a couple minutes of restlessness first ... when I drop everything because I know what's coming :p

ReplyDeleteThe expressions on Waffles face are just too too precious. Talk about a fun guy. Wish he'd teach Mario how to play. We play Neko fly every night, but that is the only thing that is of interest to Mario. He rarely plays by himself.

ReplyDeleteI think I have a lot in common with Waffles. I'd play all day if TW was up to it. Yes, even at my, ahem, advanced age. I won't play alone though so TW better keep me occupied.
