KATIE: That's sounding an awful lot like a date, Waffles.
WAFFLES: Not dates, Boss. CHICKEN! And turkey and duck and rabbit and–
KATIE: Are you buying?
WAFFLES: I don't have to. The nice Canadians sent us a whole bunch of food!
KATIE: You mean the nice people at CANIDAE. Who, for the record, are from California.
WAFFLES: I didn't know there were Canadians in California!
KATIE: Now Waffles. Let's get one thing straight. This is NOT a date.
WAFFLES: Right, Boss. Not a date.
KATIE: And I don't want you thinking you're going to get any "dessert" action afterwards.
WAFFLES: Right, Boss. No dessert. No action.
KATIE: No physical contact whatsoever.
WAFFLES: No whatso, what?
The Food That Inspired Peace
What you're seeing is real. Not staged. Not even Photoshopped. In fact we just might be onto something. Maybe if our world's leaders came together over a plate of chicken pate or a bowl of turkey & rabbit with gravy, there'd be a little more peace and harmony.
In the meantime, we're just going to enjoy our latest foody finds from CANIDAE. And if you stick with us, you just might have a chance to enjoy some delicious dinnertime peace of your own!
We had an opportunity to sample three lines of Canidae's canned food for cats, as well as their crunchy, grain free treats. I was so distracted with how yummy everything was, I didn't even realize Waffles had his nose in my dish.

ReplyDelete@Katnip Lounge Cats
ReplyDeleteIt's very much in line with the more reasonably priced of the premium foods. We always buy our food by the case, online....
For example, (12) 5.5 ounce cans of the PURE Chicken, Turkey & Lamb is $18.99. That's $1.58 each. Pretty good for a 5.5 oz. can.
; )

There are actually a lot of Canadians in California. I once read somewhere that LA is one of our biggest cities. Think it might have been a BIT of an exaggeration, though.

ReplyDeleteMy cats enjoy poultry variety.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flavor is Lamb Entree; I have three cats and one has food allergies, so this would probably be good for him.
ReplyDeleteFave flavor? That would be FISH. Thaisa has always adored feesh - I mean, fish. But she also loves lamb! Because she has an autoimmune disorder, I must feed her food with no fillers, gunk, gluten, et al. Canidae sounds like an excellent product for her to try! She and I look forward to winning ;)
