Today's the day. Glogirly is FINALLY coming home. Not that I really even want her anymore. Yesterday I allowed the Cat Sitter to give me a head-to-tail pet. You should have seen the look on her face. Shock and awe.

It's been 17 days since Glogirly left me.
There ought to be a law against this.
Dear Friends,
She's FINALLY coming home today and SOON, I'll be able to come by and visit. Thank you so much for checking up on me during Glogirly's vacation and my captivity. I don't know what I'd do without you.

poor Waffles is going to miss the kitty caretaker but I know you won't Katie. I hope Glogirly explains with treats why she would leave you for 16 days!

Katie, do you remember when Glogirly closed you into a closet accidentally? Well, imagine all of that love and all the apologies offered to you bestowed on Waffles. Cuz what will happen is this: Cat sitter will go home, Waffles in the bag. G2 will come home and they will look everywhere for Waffles. Calling his name. Then the phone will ring and a lot of "oh thank goodness" statements. THEN the doorbell will ring and out will jump Waffles from a bag. And EVERYONE will be talking about it. For days. Possibly weeks. He may even get special privileges for a period of time.

ReplyDeleteYay!! Mommy and Daddy are coming home! You must be thrilled Katie! It seems matter of fact for Waffles as long as he has all the attention from humans and gets fed seems he doesn't mind at all who is home. But I'm sure he will recognize beautiful Glogirly and be so happy she is finally home. And I'm sure he'll be using up Gloman's lap tonight. At least you have kept your sense of humour for the past 17 days. I can imagine it is hard for a mommy's girl like you to be without her for this long. You've been a very good girl! Love you Katie and Waffles! You always make me laugh!
