Hi everyone, Katie here.
Today's the day. Glogirly is FINALLY coming home. Not that I really even want her anymore. Yesterday I allowed the Cat Sitter to give me a head-to-tail pet. You should have seen the look on her face. Shock and awe.
Hey Cat Sitter! Let me help you pack your bags. I've got a few *parting gifts* for you.
Waffles, as always, is oblivious. I'm predicting a severe case of Cat Sitter Separation Anxiety.
She's FINALLY coming home today and SOON, I'll be able to come by and visit. Thank you so much for checking up on me during Glogirly's vacation and my captivity. I don't know what I'd do without you.
Do you think I can stuff Waffles into the Cat Sitter's bags?
poor Waffles is going to miss the kitty caretaker but I know you won't Katie. I hope Glogirly explains with treats why she would leave you for 16 days!ReplyDelete
A head-to-tail pet??? Sounds like you almost crossed over, Katie. Poor Waffles does look quite oblivious to everything that is going on. Now might be the time to give him a little "gift", too! HahahaMeow.ReplyDelete
Well it's about time. I hope you do what every good cat does and ignores her for at least an hour if not a day when she comes back.ReplyDelete
How will welcome Glogirly home, Katie?ReplyDelete
Forget Glogirly...we're all lined up her to kiss Waffles. Seriously, that oblivious pink nose is making us all a little woozy. Sorry we got distracted Katie...we're suckers for a sleepy nose.ReplyDelete
I am sure you are thrilled to have them back despite your apparent lack of love for the cat sitter. Without the sitter you would erm, well, dead.ReplyDelete
Is Waffles Too one of the gifts you'll be putting in the catsitters bags? hee heeReplyDelete
Yikes is mum bringing you back a Squirrel? Send it here. Now Katie don't go packing Waffles in the pet sitters' bags. LOL! Have a serene Sunday.ReplyDelete
Best wishes Molly
Katie, will you give the cat sitter something to remember you by?ReplyDelete
Cinco De Mayo and the return of the Glopeeps! Yea!ReplyDelete
I think you should definitely try to slip Waffles in her bags somewhere. No one can blame you for trying.ReplyDelete
The Paw Relations
Waffles sure does look oblivious! This might be a good time to sneak him into the cat sitters bag!ReplyDelete
The Florida Furkids
Katie, do you remember when Glogirly closed you into a closet accidentally? Well, imagine all of that love and all the apologies offered to you bestowed on Waffles. Cuz what will happen is this: Cat sitter will go home, Waffles in the bag. G2 will come home and they will look everywhere for Waffles. Calling his name. Then the phone will ring and a lot of "oh thank goodness" statements. THEN the doorbell will ring and out will jump Waffles from a bag. And EVERYONE will be talking about it. For days. Possibly weeks. He may even get special privileges for a period of time.ReplyDelete
This is my life, watching other cats take my attention.
We think you must be in such a weakened state, Katie, that you let the cat sitter pet you. Thank cod Glogirly is coming home.ReplyDelete
YAY!!! Glogirly is coming home!! YAY!!!!! "Cat Sitter Separation Anxiety" MOL!!!ReplyDelete
Meow Katie. Did you remember to hurk in her shoes and poo in her suitcase? We find that always helps.ReplyDelete

Maybe the catsitter will pack Waffles Too while she's at it. You could certainly offer, Katie.ReplyDelete
Katie, I'd send that W2 packing for sure! But, I think there may be another trip in GlogGirly's future. Ever heard of Blog Paws? Love DollyReplyDelete
Yay they are coming home! Love those photos.ReplyDelete
Is it too early to fumigate the old townhouse? HAH!ReplyDelete
Katie, here's your chance to send W2 to the catsitter's house! Tie him up and stuff him in her suitcase :)ReplyDelete
17 days! That's a LONG time!ReplyDelete
That sounds good, to let the sitter pet you before she goes. Just barely. Waffles sure IS oblivious there, isn't he? Welcome home to the Glogrownups.ReplyDelete
Psst! Katie! I can ... *ahem* ... help with those "parting gifts" you mentioned ... hee hee!ReplyDelete
We've missed you!
Me is waiting with baited breath!ReplyDelete
Me wants to hear all yous has to say to Glowgirly!
Is she really coming home Katie or is it a rumor W2 started?ReplyDelete
Katie, I hope some of those parting gifts of which you speak involve having to scoop them out of the litter box!ReplyDelete
Yay!! Mommy and Daddy are coming home! You must be thrilled Katie! It seems matter of fact for Waffles as long as he has all the attention from humans and gets fed seems he doesn't mind at all who is home. But I'm sure he will recognize beautiful Glogirly and be so happy she is finally home. And I'm sure he'll be using up Gloman's lap tonight. At least you have kept your sense of humour for the past 17 days. I can imagine it is hard for a mommy's girl like you to be without her for this long. You've been a very good girl! Love you Katie and Waffles! You always make me laugh!ReplyDelete
Katie, I want to be a fly on the wall when Glogirly walks in (perhaps not a fly zackly!) Anyways, I'm going to time how long you ignore her. Oh yes I am!!ReplyDelete
Finally! They'd better be bearing lots of gifts!!!ReplyDelete
(cat sitter as she's leaving the townhouse) " my, this suitcase seems a bit *sniff, sniff* ah...um... heavier?... than when I arrived..."ReplyDelete
Welcome back Glogirly! Thank Cod you're back!
I wonder what those parting gifts are, Katie? :) We sure hope Glogirly and Gloman bring lots and lots of presents for you and Waffles ... you've earned them!ReplyDelete
We're sure Glogirly will be very happy to see you again. She better bring lots of presents.ReplyDelete
Maybe Glogirly will bring you back some gifts?ReplyDelete
Don't see why Waffles can't be packed in those bagsReplyDelete
Benny & Lily
I am certain you could get waffles too into a bag! I hope she returns with loads of gifts and you make her appologise for putting you through this again and again and again! (and then again!)ReplyDelete
