Hi everyone, Katie here.
Thank you so much for tuning in to Searching For A Girl, the story of Glogirly's search for her biological roots. Every single one of your comments touched her heart. She's working on the epilogue and will be including some details about what's happened since. It's been four years now since she found Dorothy and the rest of the family.
As long as Glogirly's story was, there were many details omitted. Things you might enjoy knowing about. So We Want YOU! We want your questions that is.
If there is anything you'd like to know...anything at all...just leave your questions in the comments or send us an email. (there's a link to our email address in our profile) We'll be sure to include your questions and answers in the epilogue.
Now it's onto more pressing matters like, what will I blog about next? Certainly there are some wrongs that need to be righted, some grievances that deserve to be aired.
I'm on it!

I want to know if I could steal you away for some cuddle time Miss Katie...
ReplyDeleteDid Glogirly try to, or happen to, find out anything about her biological dad?
ReplyDeleteHave any of her new family come out to visit her and Gloman, or have visits all been going to California?
Do any other of the family members have KITTIES!!
Oh Miss Katie, How many time I have to say sorry to Glogirly !!!
ReplyDeleteI miss a lots of chapter !, It's my mom's false !! Now we have a lots of homework !!!! Promise, We will back to read.
We are curious about Glogirly's dad, too.
ReplyDeleteThis was such an amazing journey. We loved hearing all about Glogirly and her mom. No questions yet, but do you have a story Katie?
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
I expect you're exhausted, Katie, after your excellent literary efforts!
ReplyDeleteI hope the contact has been good with Glogirly's family in the last four years? Sometimes after the first flurry of emotion and chat, I reckon things could be a bit strange as new relationships are worked out. xx
We would love to see more pictures of Glogirly's Mom, Alice! She is so pretty and looks so much like Glogirly, we think.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know if Glogirly found out anything about her biological dad, too.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, you were so curious about your mother, but not about your dad... Something to think about, I think...
ReplyDeleteWe adopted 2 children, and of course, my question is more about how you felt to be an adopted child. One of my best friends was adopted, by her grandparents, because her parents died in a car crash, and she told me that, every time something went wrong (in her eyes of course...), she thought "if my mum was still alive, it would be different". Now she has two kids herself, teenagers, and realizes that she was wrong, but... how sad!
Our children gave us so much, and I cannot help thinking of your parents, who must have been very grateful to have a daughter like you!
And... it's strange, but I have the impression you resemble your dad.
Your mother was so young when she died, and when I see her picture, I feel the love of a woman towards her family, I am moved to tears.
Your story is really moving, and I think everything was possible because you have an open mind, taught by your adoptive parents, I guess...
I hope from the deepest of my heart that my kids are as serene as you are, about their own parents and us, but I know each history is different and is lived differently...
Hugs,
looloo
We think you were very generous in loaning your blog to Glogirly so we could all read her wonderful story. Way to to, Katie!
ReplyDeleteWe, like others, want to know if your Aunt was able to tell you anything about your birth father?
We were wondering what's happened since... but sounds like that's coming...
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! guess what? I have no questions because I'm still stuffed from all the turkey I ate. It makes you tired, you know.
ReplyDeletelooloo,
ReplyDeletethank you for your beautiful comment.
