Iron Chef Cats #TVTripCaturday

*cue dramatic theme music*

ANNOUNCER:  Nearly a week ago, a cat's fantasy became reality in a form never seen before - 

Cat Food Stadium, a giant eating arena.

The motivation for spending his fortune (allowance) to create Cat Food Stadium was to encounter new, original cuisines which could be called (loosely at best) true artistic creations.

CHEF WAFFLES:  *Yells unintelligible gibberish and bites chicken drumstick*

ANNOUNCER:  Some of the greatest cat chefs from around the world will be competing for the title of Iron Chef Cat. Today Chef Waffles will be going head to head, and paw to paw, with Chef Chili Pepper. 

Both Chef Waffles and Chef Chili Pepper will have one hour to tackle the theme ingredient of the day. Using all their senses, creativity and skill they're to prepare artistic dishes never tasted before. 

CHEF WAFFLES:  Uh, so what's the theme ingredient again? 

CHEF CHILI PEPPER: Weren't you paying attention? 

CHEF WAFFLES:  Paying what?

*five minutes later*

KATIE:  Seriously? You call yourselves Iron Chefs?  I'm going to need an iron stomach.

Today's Cameo Cat
Today's Cameo Cat is Chili Pepper. She's a beautiful dilute calico. This young mother is permanently retired from the kitten producing business. Chili Pepper is very affectionate to people.

She tolerates other cats, but after six kittens, she’d love to be the only center of attention. Her kittens were Jalapeño, Cayenne, little black Poblano, Chilaca, Habanero, and Serrano.

Chili Pepper is available for adoption at PAWS, Pet Animal Welfare Society in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Every Saturday we feature adoptable cats from PAWS Pet Animal Welfare Society in Norwalk, CT. in our #TVTripCaturday blog series. Through the magic of Photoshop, they join Waffles and Katie for some time-travel adventures to some of our favorite, classic shows.

We'll also introduce you to the 'Cameo Cats' and share a little bit about them. Maybe, just maybe... our crazy antics will help our shelter friends find forever homes.
