WAFFLES: Hey Boss! Are you going to make me my Cat-Lete Card trading card for the Kitten Bowl this Sunday?KATIE: Sure. What position do you want to play?
WAFFLES: Duh, Boss. I'm the 25-cent back.
KATIE: You mean quarterback?
WAFFLES: Is a quarter better than 25 cents? Which do the ladies think is cooler?
KATIE: Whatever, Waffles. I'll see what I can do.
*tap, tap, tap ... upload photo of Waffles ... tap, tap, tap*
WAFFLES: SCRATCH END??? The ladies aren't going go for a Scratch End! Wait. Who said I like locking myself in the bathroom?
Editors Note: No lie. As we're typing the previous sentence, Waffles has locked himself in the powder room. Again.
*tap, tap, tap ... upload photo of me ... tap, tap, tap ... looking for good beauty shot... tap, tap, tap*
KATIE: There. What??? Lickbacker??? I don't go around licking just anyone's back you know. And for the record, my hairballs are NOT orange.
Are You Ready For Some Football?
All eyes will be on glued to the big screen this Sunday when the most important football game of the year kicks off. The crowd will be cheering on fan favorites like Jerry Mice and Mr. Slippers. It's bound to be a close game, that is if the players don't go overboard with the catnip.
What. You didn't actually think we were talking about that other little scrimmage, did you?
Kitten Bowl III, the cutest, furriest football match up yet, airs this Sunday at 12pm ET/PT on the Hallmark Channel. Beth Stern, animal advocate, TV personality and spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America is back to host the big game along with the iconic radio voice of NY Yankees sports analyst and commentator John Sterling. Even Pro Bowl quarterback Boomer Esiason will be on hand to reprise his role as Feline Football League (that's FFL) Commissioner. Someone's got to make sure those kittens follow the rules.
It's not just about touchdowns and wand toys.
The Kitten Bowl is about keeping viewers engaged while simultaneously encouraging and educating millions of people about the importance of animal adoption.
“Not only are these cats some of the best players in the Feline Football League, but also they are looking for their forever homes. These champions will make loving and playful additions to any family looking to adopt an animal in need.”
~Boomer Esiason, FFL Commissioner
