Hi everyone, Katie here.
Glogirly took a trip today. It started out innocently enough I suppose. She needed to go to the post office to mail my secret paws package, Spitty's giveaway prize and a raffle prize I donated to Blind Cat Rescue. So in a way, she was going to the post office on behalf of me. Even so, what you are about to read will horrify you. There is no excuse.
She carried the packages downstairs to the garage and was about to leave when she realized we'd had a winter storm and the 15" of new snow meant she was going to need to dig her boots out of the tiny, dark and very messy coat closet.
What she didn't see in her haste was a certain black and white kitty who entered said closet for a routine check.
Slam. Closet door closes. Beep, beep, beep, beep. She sets the alarm. Garage door opens. Car starts. Car backs out of garage. Garage door closes. Poof, she's gone.
And I'm trapped. The time was 3:10 pm CST.
7:05 pm CST – Glogirly and Gloman are watching TV with the pea-eyed monster, Waffles Too.
7:06 pm CST – Glogirly realizes she hasn't seen me for awhile.
7:07 pm CST – Checks my food dish – full.
7:08 pm CST – Goes upstairs to check on laundry – I'm nowhere to be found.
7:09 pm CST – Looks under the beds, in the bathtub, even in Waffles' room – nothing.
7:10 pm CST – Now she's worried.
7:10 pm CST – Did I go off somewhere to die? Seriously??? Is THIS what you think when you can't find me???
7:12 pm CST – She runs downstairs. I'm not in my litter room or anywhere else.
7:13 pm CST – Gloman finally decides to join in.
7:14 pm CST – Glogirly opens the door to the tiny, dark, messy coat closet. IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!
She does the math and realizes I've been locked up in the tiny, dark, messy coat closet for FOUR HOURS.
Tears gush. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." "I can't believe..." "I feel horrible..." "I'm a terrible person..."
I'm fine. Not that I'd ever admit it to her. She may have
Guilt Trip – Boarding all rows.
