Waffles' Window Whiffies

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss, it's time for spring window whiffies!

KATIE:  Window whatties???

WAFFLES:  Whiffies, Boss. Whiffies!

KATIE:  Waffles, are you talking with your tongue stuck between your teeth again?

"Spring" Time in the Mountains
It's the time of year in Colorado when all four seasons can descend upon us in just a single day. While we still have some snow on the ground, at least in spots where the sun hasn't gotten to it yet, it's warm enough to open up the windows. That is until it starts snowing those tiny little pellets that look like the filling inside a bean bag chair. No worries though, all we have to do is wait another 15 minutes and it will change again.

Glogirly has worn everything from t-shirts and sandals to boots and mittens outside in the past week. Never a dull moment.

Gloman is still here with us while he continues to work from home. ...and binge-watch all that Amazon Prime and Netflix has to offer. We're very lucky to be sheltering in place in such a beautiful place. And we're very lucky to all be together.

Stay safe, friends. And if you can, enjoy some springtime window whiffies.

  1. The Colorado mountains are especially cool this time of year! Or is that warm? Or cold? Who knows, MOL!

  3. We've been having snow like yours too, and it's called 'graupel'. Snow pellets, which bounce when they hit!
The Hubby still has all of our windows sealed for the winter, but he'll begin to peel it all back, so Da Boyz can get some whiffies. Sweetie will enjoy some too, just as soon as I stop syringing meds into her mouth...

  5. It's been too cold here for any open windows, but the cats have spent a bit of time on our enclosed porch.
