Sunbasking

Hi everyone, Katie here.

Some of you know that the townhouse has been under construction all summer and fall. Bad news is I've got to deal with unexpected intruders wearing tool belts and swinging hammers. No warning whatsoever. They just barge right in, forcing me to scamper off and hide.

Good news is our window blinds have been down now for months.

Good news, because I'm able to bask in the sun without those pesky plantation blinds blocking my sunbeams.

I never have to worry about tan lines.

Don't worry, my beautiful furs have a natural SPF. I am safe in the sun.

Yes, that's my Sheep Mouse. A gift from one of my admirers.

What? Are you kidding? Sheep Mouse is a gift from Deb the Cat Sitter?

I better rethink who I lay in the sun with.

  2. Katie, I totally relate to the intruder-worker thing - our last house was like that, an endless stream of intruders messing with my house. So I was very happy when we moved. We only get those toolbelt intruders here on rare occasions, not for weeks at a time. We have some plantation blinds here too, and I am trying to figure out how to convince my human to do away with them.

Still not done with construction! Our mom would be pretty cranky by now if she lived there.
