Well YOU spoke. And WE are listening.
Last week we asked for your ideas on my next big project. Reality TV was on virtually everyone's mind. So, THE REAL HOUSECATS OF THE BLOGOSPHERE it is!
I am but one housecat in this big, big world we call the blogosphere. So here's where YOU come in. I need FIVE fellow housecat cast members. All Mancats and Girlcats are welcome to apply.
If you're interested in auditioning, I need just 3 things from you.
1. PHOTOS
Not just your ordinary snapshots. According to my Director of Production, we need high resolution photographs. That means you need to tell your humans to make sure the settings in their cameras are set to "extra fine." They also need to hold their cameras very still when they shoot so you are sharp and in focus. Ok, we know you're sharp already, but we need FOCUS. We'll take as many photos as you'd like to send, but at minimum we need:
A. Headshot
B. Full Body shot
C. Arm shot
Photo Hint: It's very helpful if there is contrast between you and your background. We need to "cut out" your silhouette to place it in a variety of other backgrounds and scenes. For example: A black cat with alot of black in the background doesn't work very well. A black cat on a light background is purrfect.

3. YOUR PERMISSION
Those of you that have been following me for awhile now understand and appreciate my... "personality." I'm not one to sugar coat things. I suppose you might even call me cynical. Sarcastic. Sharp-tongued. Well, shake that up with a little Reality TV and you better be prepared for what gets poured out. We're going to sensationalize your stories. There may be a little exaggeration. But mostly, we just need permission to publish your photos. ; )
SUBMISSIONS
Please send your photos and questionnaire answers via email. Our email address is located inside our profile, in the upper right sidebar. Feel free to ask any technical questions you have regarding the photos as well. Photography and Photoshop experts are standing by. All submissions are due by FEBRUARY 28.
No matter how many cats audition, we promise to use ALL cats in some way. The selection of the five final cast members will be based on their photos and questionnaire.
