WAFFLES: Nothing to see here. Other than a handsome mancat hanging on my favorite chair with the snow freshies out the window behind me.
ELLIE: What are snow freshies, Mr. Waffles?
WAFFLES: That's what Glogirly calls it when she races to the ski area after it's been snowing. Powder. Pow-pow. You know, freshies.
ELLIE: This is what I like to do when there's freshies.
Freshies!
Despite the ginormous snowdrift outside the bathroom window, we're still way behind with snowfall this season. But we got a few new inches, which means freshies tomorrow morning at the ski hill!
So you-know-who will be donning her kitty helmet and powder skis!
We are getting "freshies" here too today. Mum wants winter to be over. She will need to shovel again. Our snow was almost completely gone!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad Glogirly enjoys snow. I live in semi-tropical SE Texas and we rarely have snow.
ReplyDeleteWe had a thin layer of fresh snow here today, too, but most of it turned to slush by the end of the day...then we got 'graupel' on top...that should make walking treacherous in the morning as the temps are supposed to be in the mid 20'asF.

My human loves looking at photos of snow. But she is staying right here in SoCal, which has never seen a snow storm in her lifetime.
