Waffles' Powder Room Obsession - One Year Later

WAFFLES:  Do-do-do. No one in here but us chickens. Wait. Chickens?

WAFFLES:  *inaudible chortling*

WAFFLES:  I'm still looking for the chickens.

About Today's Photos
Almost one year ago, we shared Waffles fascination with the powder room. How he'll often shut himself inside the tiny 6'x6' room as many as a dozen times in just one evening.

The orange mischief maker is still going strong. So strong in fact, he's branched out to the guest bath and master bath.

We're pretty sure it's not only a bathroom attraction but a fascination with doors. His modus operandi is to play in the tiny space between the back of the open door and the wall, twirling, chortling and flipping like a fish. Then he'll stand up on his back legs with his front paws reaching up as high as they can go on the door, pushing until... click. He's locked himself in.

Now whenever Glogirly and Gloman leave the townhouse, they go through an open door protocol. Every door is checked and blocked open with a doorstop, laundry basket, stool or whatever piece of furniture is handy.

Katie: "Get me out of here!"
Katie doesn't share Waffles' powder room obsession. Though she has, on occasion, found herself on the wrong side of the door during these shenanigans.

KATIE:  That's an understatement.
