TV Trip: The Dating Game CATS

KATIE:  Bachelor #1, describe the perfect date.

WAFFLES:  MY perfect date has LOTS of legs. Extra crispy legs. With gravy.

KATIE:  Bachelor #2, the question is for Bachelor #1. Not you.

WAFFLES:  Boss? Is that you???

KATIE:  Bachelor #2, wait your turn please.

WAFFLES:  Sorry, Boss. What are you doing over there anyway?

KATIE:  Just trying to run this blog and not get cancelled.

WAFFLES:  Boss, are you sure I'm not Bachelor #1?

KATIE:  WAFFLES! Be quiet! Ok, Bachelor #1, please excuse Bachelor #2. Can you describe your perfect date?

BACHELOR #1: My perfect date is dinner and Bird TV.

WAFFLES:  Is that a premium channel? Or does that come with the basic package?

KATIE:  Bachelor #2, I don't want to have to ask you again –

WAFFLES:  Sorry, Boss. It's my turn next though isn't it?

KATIE:  Fine. Bachelor #2. Describe your perfect ladycat.

Announcing TV Trip Saturdays with the PAWS Shelter Cats!
In case you missed our announcement last week, our Saturday spoofs just got a whole lot furrier! Each week an adoptable cat (or cats!) from PAWS Pet Animal Welfare Society will be making a cameo appearance in our TV Trip blog series. Through the magic of Photoshop, they'll join Katie and Waffles in their TV time-travel adventures.

We'll also introduce you to the cameo cats and share a little bit about them. Maybe, just maybe... some silly wigs and special effects will help our shelter friends find forever homes.

Special thanks to our partner in crime, Maggie Swanson, the photographer behind our cameo cats and a devoted volunteer at PAWS. Maggie is the author of the blog, Sundays at the Shelter, where she features adoptable cats from PAWS each and every week. Her beautiful photos have helped countless homeless cats find loving homes.

Today's Cameo Cats
Brothers Marshall & Hubbell have been at PAWS for over a year now and we just can't imagine why no one has adopted these sweet boys yet.

They were living outside, always together, fed by a kind stranger. When the man worried that it was getting just too cold for them, he contacted PAWS. Marshall and Hubbell are about three years old now, and get along well with other cats. You can see that their ears were tipped at some point when they were neutered. These shy boys are happy to be inside, with a window for bird and dog watching, and regular meal service.

These handsome, young mancats are available for adoption at PAWS, Pet Animal Welfare Society in Norwalk, Connecticut.

  17. Hubble and Marshall are extremely tempting bachelors! It's a good thing for me they both live so far away or it would be a hard thing to resist bringing both of them home (which I don't think my current two would like very much). I hope their trip to The Dating Game - Cat Edition results in a furever home for them. Such gorgeous mancats!

  21. I don't think Bachelor #2- um- Waffles that is, will be chosen. You have to cool it with the ladies Waffles. Take it slow. Funny guy!

I love this idea of featuring an adoptable cat as a cameo in your TV trips!! That is fantastic!! More exposure, more chances to find a loving forever home! And kudos to Maggie Swanson! Uh oh, don't say her last name to Waffles. Swanson. The family name of good chickens found at a superstore near you. I'm sure Waffles will be contacting Maggie!
