Chicken Treats Amber Alert

WAFFLES:  What? I didn't steal them. I swear.

KATIE:  Steal what, Waffles?

WAFFLES:  The chicken treats. I didn't steal the chicken treats.

KATIE:  Waffles, if you didn't steal the chicken treats, how do you know the chicken treats are missing?

WAFFLES:  Chicken treats? What chicken treats?

About Today's Photos
There's been a rash of treat incidents at the Townhouse. Ever since we moved back in, multiple packages of chicken, turkey and jerky treats have mysteriously disappeared. Though the preliminary evidence is pointing towards a certain orange tabby, Glogirly is suspicious he is not working alone.

We'll continue to keep you informed of any new developments in the case.

A BIG Birthday Thank You
We want to thank you from the bottom of our little kitty hearts for all the wonderful birthday wishes for Glogirly. She was so touched...especially with being so busy lately and not being able to visit all of our friends' blogs. You're awesome!

  1. There have been many tradesmen in the townhouse lately. Maybe the great treat theft is an outside job? Those folks who work with their hands get real hungry and many really enjoy poultry. I bet Katie and Waffles would be happy to help you with the forensic investigation. I bet they could tell you if there are any unfamiliar scents on the wrapper. That'd be a big help.

  3. Laughing hysterically at the above comment!
Waffles don't worry. The evidence is purely circumcision, circumference....well they've got no proof!!!

  7. Waffles, you are looking a little guilty. Hint: Plant the evidence elsewhere, like maybe by Katie's pillow. MOL

  8. Workers may be very hungry, and you had many people working at your home these days : maybe one of them was so hungry that he stole the treats to eat them ? Further investigation of the wrapper is needed. Purrs

  9. You guys need to get a treat jar like we have. Then it will be harder to steal the treats. Hey, what are we saying?!?

  10. How did the woman miss your birthday post? She was gone on Sunday--that's why. It's all the Male's fault for wanting to do something that required she not spend the time she does reading blogs, that's what! I hope your birthday was happy and that Waffles enjoyed his treats. Stuff like that never happens in our house. Uh huh... Never.

  14. Well you know, if they are in reach of kitty paws, you are basically giving them approval to do such things. The treats in my house are all locked up.

  18. Mom can't leave any treats out or they are ripped open immediately. Possibly this action at your house is the protest for no longer having hotel room service. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  19. is it anyone's fault that the chick-hen treats cannot breathe in their bag and they chew their way out?

  20. Oh, they never work alone. We know from experience that it's always a joint effort!

  27. You'd better make sure "chicken treats" weren't on that punch list that Glogirly gave the workmen a few days ago. Maybe there was a misunderstanding...

  28. It must be the construction workers. I am sure.

  29. Surely there must be an Introoder in your home,
    taking your treats! MOL

  30. You may want to start hiding those empty snack bags Waffles. Rule #1 when stealing treats is ditch all the evidence. Why are you so hungry? Didn't they feed you at that fancy hotel? I'd blame it on the peeps remodeling your townhouse, but now that there gone you need to stop taking unauthorized chicken snacks.
