We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Program

WAFFLES:  Hey Boss? Do you have the flipper?

KATIE:  Flipper???

WAFFLES:  You know, the channel changer remote thing?

KATIE:  Waffles, if you don't like the show, just go to a different window.

WAFFLES:  I've never seen birds like these before. What kind of bird wears a tool belt and carries a driller thing?

KATIE:  The kind of birds that mean we're about to be locked in the bedroom. Again.

WAFFLES:  Uh oh. The Boss is going to go stir crazy. Again.

About Today's Photos
We interrupt today's regularly scheduled program to bring you a new episode of Construction Worker TV. Bird TV will return next week, or possibly next month, at it's regularly scheduled time.

The construction and repairs continue this week at the Townhouse. Even though there's a fresh stash of treats, a nice clean litter box and plenty of toys, we're pretty sure that's not going to impress Katie once the bedroom door shuts. Glogirly even moved her computer and files into the bedroom so no one feels alone. She'll be hard at work napping all day. Again.

  1. That's something different. A little variety to your day.

  2. Poor Katie. I'll bet as soon as she doesn't have to be in the bedroom the only place she will want to be is the bedroom

  5. When I first moved here, there was some really loud work going on outside - something about a retaining wall - and my human and I were cooped up in a little office in an out-of-the-way part of the house. So I know the feeling!

  13. Oh man, what a pain! We hate that. Of course we only got locked in on certain days. The Woman knew we'd leave them alone most other days because they were noisy!

  16. My cat is so scared whenever we have worker guys at our house. He hides and only appears when he is sure they have gone away.

  24. It's very busy at the Townhouse! Good luck on the construction. I hope everything comes out as you wish it to be. And good luck Katie with the door closed on you. At least Waffles is in there with you if that's any consolation. :)

  25. I can relate since we had all that destruction here. Derby I spent every day for a week locked up in mum's sleepy room. She went day hunting, so we were all on our own.
