Hi everyone, Katie here.
The UPS man has been coming around a lot lately. And for once, the big brown truck is a welcome sight. Just the other day a special box came for ME all the way from Housecat Confidential! I'm not sure where the town of Housecat Confidential is...but who cares! It's a box. With a gift. Addressed to ME!
My friend Quill, the new kitten-in-charge over at Housecat Confidential sent me a GIFT! Not just any gift...Quill sent me SALMON. Do you know how much I LOVE SALMON? I know I hardly ever mention it here...but trust me, I LOVE salmon. Love, Love, Love it. And look! It even comes in a pink package. You KNOW that means it's good.
The salmon is a thank-you gift from Quill for helping him out with his Blog design. The kitten needed a
...hey, wait a minute! Does that package say *dog treats*? Seriously, DOG TREATS??? Well, Quill IS just a kitten. Still inexperienced in the world of feline culinary delights. I'm gonna cut him some slack though. Truth be told, there's no difference at all between salmon treats for dogs and salmon treats for cats. Except of course that dogs don't deserve salmon treats.
Katie yummie salmon Quill is a knowledgable kitten. And this is true I didn't even know doggies like salmon such things learned.
ReplyDeleteDon't lick a gift fish in the ....eat it!
ReplyDeleteThere should be a LAW against calling freeze dried salmon "dog treats!" They are CAT treats and should say so on the package. If dogs want to eat freeze dried salmon CAT treats, they will just have to deal.
ReplyDeleteNothin says thank you quite like salmon does! MOL! (chick-hen runs a close second) Happy Monday. We're off to vote fur you!
ReplyDeleteSalmon!!! YUM!!!!
ReplyDeleteYUM-YUM! What a thoughtful gift!
ReplyDeleteThere may be one small difference we has noticed since we has a dog that dog treats are BIGGER!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are not sure who is responsible for the miscarriage of justice that gives dogs bigger treats then cats especially when it comes to salmon.
There foods is bigger too at least Fenris' is.............~The cats Socks & Scylla
Quill is pretty clued up there? Dog treats are BIGGER!!!! Enjoy, Katie xox
ReplyDeleteWere they yummy yummy?
ReplyDeleteWho knew dogs even liked salmon? I know I didn't. Salmon is for kitties! purrs
ReplyDeleteYeah....true...salmon is salmon no matter what. Just enjoy Katie! har har har *evil laughs*
ReplyDeleteCan you eat them if they are for dogs? I mean wouldn't they kind of smell of DOG?
ReplyDeleteKatie, you know that freeze-dried treats have NO calories. Truth!
ReplyDeleteOur advice is to eat the entire package all in one sitting.
I would totally trust Quill and eat them!
ReplyDeleteWell being a bun I only greens and hay but since when do dogs eat fish?!
ReplyDeleteGasp! Salmon treats! Zowie - I've never had those. (Yelling at M to get me salmon treats NOW). I hope she gets her bones out the door yet today so I can try those.,
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Salmon! Eat up and enjoy! Bon Appetite.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cod! The embarrassment! Dog treats! Mom is FIRED!
ReplyDeleteQ
yep! We got those mailed to us in our BlogPaws swag bag and Mom was quite shocked to see "Dog Treats" on it too, until she looked them up online and saw that both cats and dogs can eat them!
ReplyDeleteDog, cat, who cares?? It's SALMON!! You are one lucky girl, Katie!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Quill knows how to work the ladies already! We had better watch out when he gets older.
ReplyDeleteYUMMMMYYYY! What a PAWsome gift! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe tried those Whole Treats too, and they are awesome! For some reason, woofies can eat them too...though we don't know many woofies that like salmon. Enjoy yours, Katie!
ReplyDeleteWhen you are talking salmon, you are talking love!
ReplyDeleteYous means Dogs and Cats has separate treats? Me loves the hairy slobbery sister's treats (except the cookies) and they loves mine, but me has never seen those salmon ones! Yous is one lucky cat!
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
Wow, who woulda thought that the salmon company could be so careless with their packaging? CLEARLY a typo.
ReplyDeleteYou should try out some Norwegian smoked salmon that is soooo jummy :)
ReplyDeleteI tryed it out this weekend when I was in Norway = I snatched it from my mommies sandwich *mol*
Salmon treats sound yummy scrummy. Who cares if it says dog treats. No dog is going to get a look in with salmon.
ReplyDeleteOh my. My Lou would be all KINDS of jealous of your salmon treats if he came anywhere near the computer. I keep telling him he needs to blog, or at least keep up with the world via reading blogs, but he thinks he's above all this webby stuff. Enjoy your salmon!
