Act Like A Dog

Hi everyone, Katie here.

I'm sure you thought I was lying dead in a ditch. Well, not to worry. I'm alive and well and holed up in the townhouse watching the snow fall. A blizzard is on it's way. I'm all stocked up with kibble and litter. Toys scattered about. Pillows and blankets all furred up. So I'm good.

Glogirly on the other hand is down to a can of mushroom soup and coke zero.

She's been "busy" with her "new" job. New, schmew. She started the new gig in early December. Hasn't blogged for me since Thanksgiving and it's now the eve of President's day for crying out loud.

As she's been immersing herself in the new job, I've had to practically throw myself at Gloman. Fortunately he is easy to train. All I have to do is act like a dog. I know, humiliating isn't it? But I can get anything I want.

He's been responding particularly well to my play-signals:
  1. I grab my favorite toy in my mouth.
  2. I trot down the steps to wherever he is.
  3. I drop my toy at his feet.
  4. Best to make a bunch of noise in case he's not paying attention.
  5. I sit.
  6. I look at him.
  7. Actually I stare at him.

Works every time.

  8. Hi, Katie! Sounds like thank G-d for Gloman, even if you do have to act like a dog.

  9. Geez Katie, that's terrible that your human is so busy with dumb work stuff and you have to lower yourself to dog level to get attention from your male human. Do you need to be rescued?

  10. You need to start demanding more attention from your oooman. Now you is pretty smart if you carry a toy downstairs and set down by your Dad's feet. How can he help but not play with you.
